Steel Roofing Shingles Information
Steel roofing shingles can be installed in different styles and forms which include shingles, standing seam units, click lock and more. We use Ideal Roofing products which include styles such as Wakefield Bridge, Junior H-F, Heritage and more.
Wakefield Bridge steel shingles are designed with four interlocking sides and an integrated nailing strip. No fasteners are exposed. PVDF (Polyvinyledene Fluoride) is oven-baked with Kynar 500 resin and “Cool Roof” solar reflection technology.
Heritage Series are designed as a roofing panel for that prestige look. They feature a hidden fastener steel roof panel instead of clips.
Junior Series is also a standing seam roof with a hidden fastener panel.
These steel roofing shingles have been designed and developed in Canada in order to accommodate for our harsh weather across the country. They are fastened and secured from ridge cap to eaves, most times in one single sheet. This is done in order to minimize the number of seams and joints as well roof leaks.
Ideal Roofing steel roofing shingles ensure that snow will never build up, slide off the roof and infiltrate into your home. Heavy snow is no match for these durable steel shingles. If its thunderstorm and lighting hit the roof, it would disperse the energy safely through the structure. Since steel roofing isn’t combustible or flammable, it’s a low risk and desirable roofing option where severe weather is concerned
No matter which style you choose from, you are sure to have a long lasting roof with a Lifetime Warranty!
